Nomis Fall lookbook.

I first discovered Nomis street wear when I was in Banff, Canada a few years back.. Designed by Simon Chamberlain a Canadian native, Nomis took Northern America by storm when it first released and has continued to create excitement ever since. This is the 2011 Fall lookbook, however I still love the colour pop and freshness it has to offer.. Here are a few of my favourites...

Monday thoughts...

...The weekend is over. Its time for a fresh new look on the week ahead. Having lived through a somewhat eventless last few days, I've been thinking that I need to 'revamp' my attitude to get positive and inspired again. 

I'm going to do four simple things this week to keep me going and my motivation up. 

Eat well. We all know the feeling of indulging in crap when your under the weather or can't be bothered and it just ends in a guilty conscious...so I've found a few easy recipes for the week to keep me thinkin' straight. 

The first two are from my vegetarian cook book and that last two from my Mexican cook book (all of them can be simplified to minimise stress and effort). 

Drink well. Making sure I get enough fluids for the day.. and limiting alcohol intake as much as possible. 

Think positive. Repeating a few quick affirmations in the morning to set my mind up for the day...

Be myself. Not like I'm not normally, however, sometimes its nice to remind yourself that you are who you are and thats more than ok. 

Where I'd rather be. Always wishing I was somewhere else in the world... Today it's  the Vail Valley, Colorado, chillin' in a log cabin about to go out riding!

Happy Friday

After a great first week at work is leaving me with a buzz for the weekend, I'm super pumped to be ending the week on such a high. 

Having said that... I am looking forward to not having any plans this weekend!

Jibdays... cravin' a carve...

This year has definitely been ever changing for me as I had several plans to go travelling, 'career' goals because I finished my course last year, among a few other idea's... long story short, you just never know what is coming around the corner.


I started my new job this week at Nike, absolutely lovin it! Just a couple of picks from my instagram feed showin off my new gear. 

  The team at the Smith Street store is amazing so I'm having a blast, however I cant help but think back to my travel plans and wish I was snowboarding somewhere in America... so now I'm definitely looking forward to winter here in Oz, super pumped to get up to some ski hills... Until then this is my best fix.

Monday thoughts...

Very excited for this week as I'm starting my new job! As I finished my course last year I've been tryin to figure out what the best step to take was in terms of career and travel plans etc... so I hope this is it! I'll keep you posted with pics of what I'm up to and the gear I'm in.

It was in an issue of Nylon magazine that I discovered the label Palladium. Originally founded in 1920 to make tires for aircrafts, the brand then began to create long wearing boots with this aviation background in mind. 

Pallabrouse Baggy in Black/Vapour 

I'm obsessed with the above pair as well as a few others... these merino fur lined pair are another particular favourite, perfect for rainy wet winters in Melbourne or better yet stomping around in snow!

Today these are definitely on my mind as it's been a hot past days as we get closer to saying goodbye to summer as Melbourne is relieved from the heat with lightning storms and torrential rain. 

Looking forward to getting my first pair!
