With one of my new years resolutions being to start training and stay fit, when I came across this fitness app by NIKE I was blown away! Its like having a personal trainer at home and it's been kicking my butt ever since I started using it.
There are various different levels of intensity and you can customise your workout tailoring it to your specific needs and wants. You can focus on your core, your arms, your butt or your stomach.. any area of your body pretty much. I love it! You can set your music to the workout and your 'trainer' is always there to push you harder and motivate you when you're thinking of giving up.
Here are a few screen shots so you get a better picture.
I just love how much variety there is... There are step by step instructions and even a short clip to show you how to do the exercise for people like me who have never done a single leg clock squat or alternating forward lunge with arm curl... bottom line its super user friendly and definitely worth a shot!
This app is free! So if you need that extra kick when you're training, this app is for you. With so many options you'll never get bored of your workout.
...and the chicks demonstrating all the moves are pretty baben so it makes you want to work harder to look more like them!
Just search: Nike Training Centre in your app store.
This would be the dream hey... Loungin in an amazing winter cabin decked out like above gettin all cosy in front of a log fire in an Elm beanie with Coal arm warmers and some original Ugg boots! Yes please!
Quality goods definitely out perform cheap make up and products. Its well worth a few extra dollars and you know that there is no animal testing involved and all the ingredients are sourced from fair trade communities etc..
Its been a while since I've had the time/energy to do any outfit or style pictures. Having the weekend 'off' so I can attend a workshop/seminar meant that I had a few more spare minutes in my day to take some pics! Nothing special but I just had to share as I'm lovin my new jacket!
This was a nice little freebie after winning an incentive at work... Love it! Jacket from the 'Athletics Department' - Nike...Its ridiculously warm.
Excuse the bad hair day - early morning for the workshop...
I'm predicating this little black beauty will be my saviour this winter!
During my brief walk around South Melbourne during lunch I came across this bizarre abandon children's playground. Super creepy. Skinners Adventure Playground?!?
I'm sure we've all heard it or even thought it at some point... Nike has copped it pretty bad when it comes to unsustainable practices, child slave labour and what not. Well, they have come a long, long way since the 80's and early 90's when most global apparel companies starting extorting cheap labour in foreign nations.
Amongst a growing collection of initiatives that Nike enforces around the world, including using a multitude of recycled materials in products and packaging, HIV education in South Africa and supporting the Homeless World Cup, one of the most recent developments is FlyKnit Technology.
Essentially, an upper created from one thread.
Introducing the flyknit.
More comfort, less production costs and a lot less waste.
wow, it's been way, way too long since I've written... been caught up in a few things (mainly the new j.o.b.) but I'm always chasing the rush.. absolutely lovin' being surrounded by driven, youthful individual's that are also caught up in the rush and thrill of chasing a dream...
